Summer Fun on a Budget

Memorial Day Weekend always makes me long for summer.

I am lucky because I get to have my whole family home with me for the summer since my hubby is a teacher. However, having everyone at home can be more expensive. We want to go places and do things, but we are on a limited budget.

Each year we make a list of things we want to do over the summer. We try to keep the costly activities limited to about one each month of the summer. And all the rest of the ideas are free or mostly free. During Spring Break this year, my sweet soon-to-be first grader (insert crying mama here) decided to write her own list of summer fun activities. It has been posted up on our fridge since that time just waiting. I think I will keep this sweet list forever.

I love how much Chan has grown as a writer even since she wrote this 2 months ago!
So if you like lists and staying on track with your budget, then here's our list of simple summer fun ideas just waiting to be stolen by you. Steal away, my lovelies! ;)
