Y'all. I'm super excited to announce my very first blog series!! I get lots of questions about how I stay organized. So I have created an organizing plan that will help us get organized simply in 2016. I'm calling it Simple in '16. On the 1st of each month I will give you a simple organizing tip and we'll have the whole month to work on it. Don't worry, I'll be there to help you every step of the way, lovelies. :)
First up for January...TOYS!! I try to go through the children's toys before the holidays, but I almost always have better luck when I wait until after Christmas. It's easier to pass things along when we are trying to find places for all our new goodies. Our rule is that if it hasn't been played with since last Christmas, that it is time to let it go.
Sometimes I think it is a blessing and a curse that we don't have a playroom. So, we've transformed Chaz's closet into the toy closet. This is where we house most of the children's toys, games, etc. The children also each have a bookcase in their rooms, and we have a linen closet that also serves as the craft closet, but other than that, all the toys fit in the toy closet. Here's a peek:

Ok, ok...maybe take a break today since it is a holiday. But start thinking about organizing toys while you eat your black-eyed peas. :)
I am so excited about getting organized with you this year! Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up:
